Job Description | Corporate Sales As a Corporate Account Manager, you will primarily handle communication between domestic clients and overseas manufacturers.Client Management: Conduct demand hearings with clients, including the Ministry of Defense and various JSDF bases.Product Expertise: Propose and confirm product specifications. Sales Administration: Handle quote preparation (delivery date, quantity, price, specifications), order placement/receipt, and manage/adjust delivery schedules. International Communication: Correspond frequently with overseas manufacturers. The role is primarily account management (route sales). However, you will eventually have the chance to seek and develop new overseas suppliers in response to client requirements for new projects. Sales Style: Mostly existing account management with some new business development. New business often involves scouting new overseas suppliers based on customer requests. Business Travel: Overseas trips (primarily to Europe) occur approximately once every three months, lasting 7 to 10 days each. Key Products: Various foreign-made defense equipment used by the Japan Self-Defense Forces. |
Training and Onboarding | Initial Training (First 3 Months): Focus on building foundational knowledge of the defense industry and existing projects during the probationary period.
Practical Skills: Hands-on training for creating necessary documentation (inquiry sheets, quotes, purchase orders) for both existing and new cases, with a focus on the specific procurement methods required for direct dealings with the Ministry of Defense. Executive Mentorship: You will be mentored and guided by the company’s CEO and a senior executive with extensive experience in the defense sector, providing direct exposure to management-level decision-making and negotiations. UK Parent Company Training: Following the 3-month probation, attend a business training program (10 days to 2 weeks) at our parent company in the UK. |
Salary | Annual salary system (¥4.5M – ¥6.0M). Includes a fixed 45 hours of overtime; excess hours paid separately. |

Job Description | Corporate Sales Manager Candidate You will be responsible for expanding our business with the Ministry of Defense, the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF), and defense equipment manufacturers. This role primarily involves managing communication and transactions between domestic clients and overseas manufacturers. Sales & Account Management: Oversee product specification proposals, confirmation, and technical discussions. Manage the sales cycle: Quote preparation (delivery, quantity, price, specifications), order processing, and delivery schedule control/adjustment. Manage communication and negotiations with overseas manufacturers. The primary focus is existing client management (route sales), with an added responsibility for new supplier development based on customer requirements for new projects. Management & Leadership: Personnel Management: Handle human resource management and evaluation of direct reports. Document Approval: Authorize and approve various sales documents, including proposals and contracts, particularly those related to the unique procedures of the Ministry of Defense. Travel: Key Products: Various foreign-made defense equipment used by the Japan Self-Defense Forces. |
